Problems Writers Face

Blank, blank, blank. My mind is blank. I can’t focus on writing. I can’t come up with new ideas. I don’t know where to start. I made a goal of trying to write a new blog every week. Time is running out and I don’t know what to do. Maybe I should give up writing and kill my dream.

Have you ever felt this way? All writers at some time will experience these thoughts. Maybe you will doubt your ability, lose your confidence or your passion has died. What do you do when this happens?

Will you fight or fly away? This is the time that will test if you are following your calling or not.

Sometimes a writers’ mind can wander causing them to lose focus. We may want to write but we feel we cannot control our thoughts, we can’t put our thoughts into words. The problems that writers face can cause stress and anxiety. They can frustrate and make us feel down with negative thoughts. Sometimes it seems the more you try to solve the problem the worse it gets.
